Networking & Security budgets rise sharply
2025 IT infrastructure trends and SASE projects in real life
Despite the economic situation: 80 percent of German companies are planning a network transformation project for the coming year, and as many as 69 percent expect a significant increase in their IT budgets. According to the latest US and German IT Infrastructure Report by Open Systems, this additional budget is very much needed to overcome SASE adoption challenges and improve their cybersecurity posture.
On the one hand, generic digital transformation projects are planned which impact network and security architectures and their operations. On the other hand, the study revealed that many companies are in the middle of implementing specific SASE solution modules such as SD-WAN or Zero Trust Network Access.
